October is just around the corner, and that means it's time for Cyber Security Awareness Month! This year, we're making it fun, interactive, and all about celebrating good habits. Our goal is to promote a culture of strong cyber hygiene throughout the company.
To kick things off, we’re thrilled to announce a company-wide contest: The Cyber Hygiene Selfie Challenge!
📸 How to Participate:
- Take a selfie or groupfie showing a cyber security best practice. 💡 Example: Locking your screen, using a strong password manager, spotting a phishing email.
- Post your picture on Viva Engage. ➡️ Use the hashtag: #CyberHygiene
- Stand a chance to WIN! 🏆 Top 3 most creative and compliant posts will win exciting prizes at the end of the month!
The challenge runs all month, and at the end of October, three winners will be selected based on creativity and the best demonstration of cyber hygiene. The winners will receive exciting prizes!
Important: The Do's and Don'ts of Your Selfie
While we encourage you to be creative, it's crucial to keep company policies and office decorum in mind.
DO'S ✅ Do show best practices that are clear and easy to understand. ✅ Do make sure your background is professional and tidy. ✅ Do respect your colleagues' privacy if they appear in a group photo (with their permission, of course!). ✅ Do ensure your selfie adheres to all company dress code and professional standards.
DON'TS ❌ Don't include any sensitive or confidential company information in the photo, such as documents with PII (Personally Identifiable Information) or your computer screen displaying internal systems. ❌ Don't take photos in highly restricted or sensitive areas of the office. ❌ Don't show any personal passwords or login details (even on a sticky note!). ❌ Don't post any unprofessional or inappropriate content.
