EMR Express Inc. is an established carrier in dry van and reefer freight, moving loads OTR for over a decade, with 150 trucks to its name.

We're currently adding experienced drivers to our team. Below is the breakdown of our 1099 Company Driver position — review it and let me know if you're interested in moving forward.

💰 Pay & Incentives

• $0.70 CPM – all miles paid (loaded & empty, address-to-address)

(Base pay: $0.65 + $0.05 safety bonus)

• Earnings: Our drivers average 2,700–3,000+ miles per week, with an average weekly take-home of $1,900–$2,300+

• Pay period: Monday to Monday

• Weekly direct deposit every Friday (no holdback)

🚛 Equipment, Freight & Operations

• Trucks: 2022–2025 Freightliner Cascadia (automatic, governed at 70 MPH on cruise & pedal).

All equipment is well-maintained with 24/7 road assistance.

• Truck Amenities: Every truck includes a power inverter and a mini fridge.

• Freight: We haul 53' Dry Van & Reefer trailers – 100% no-touch freight

• Operating Areas: We primarily run in the Midwest, South, and Southeast. No routes to the West Coast or NYC.

• ELD: Samsara – Pre-planned dispatch

🏠 Home Time & Support

Home Time:

• 2 weeks on the road = 3 days home (Midwest residents)

• 3 weeks on the road = 5 days home

• 4 weeks on the road = 7 days home

Trucks must be parked at a safe truck stop (dispatch can assist with secure parking)

For drivers outside the primary operating areas: minimum 4 weeks on the road; equipment must be returned to the company yard, and drivers fly home at their own expense.

Support & Perks:

• 24/7 driver support is available.

• Bonuses: $50 per extra stop, $25/hour detention, $100/day maintenance layovers, clean DOT inspection bonuses, and a referral bonus.

• Love's fuel card with $75 weekly balance and facility access.

• Cash advances available upon request — up to $200 weekly.

Weekly Deductions:

• Occupational Accident Insurance: $40/week

• Escrow: $2,000 total — deducted in weekly installments over 9 weeks: $250/week for the first 4 weeks, then $200/week for the remaining 5 weeks

Fully refundable at the end of the contract, as long as the equipment is returned in good condition with no unresolved claims.

📋 Requirements

We are looking for professional drivers who meet the following criteria:

• Current valid CDL-A

• Minimum 18 months of verifiable experience

• Clean driving record with no DUIs/DWIs

• No positive or refused drug/alcohol tests

• Registered business and business checking account required

(If you don't have one, we'll help you set it up during orientation)

🎓 Orientation

You will attend a quick one-day orientation in Joliet, IL.

• Travel and accommodations fully covered by EMR Express Inc.
